about

Welcome to ict4rd, my blog. One day I noticed that a lot of my projects have been developed in relation to rural areas. I started to think how the new tools and the new ways to organise were changing the rural communities.

My focus on the local has been increasing. The projects about local issues are a real space to observe how the traditional connections have been rediscovered through the web tools. And how knowledge can be shared and used for rural development.

This blog is a platform to communicate with the rural communities and develop a research space for my Phd. My intention is use this blog to help my Personal Learning Environment to find more connections and more dialogues with the rural-local researchers.

I’m Catalan. I live in Copons (a rural area). I have been working on some projects to help rural areas to develop using the net. I will also use the blog to explain my results and conclusions about these kinds of projects.
