Fa dos estius vaig estar un meset a Cuba. Allà em vaig soprendre per 2 raons: com viuen la música, concretament la salsa, com la ballen, la toquen, … De totes les cases senties remor de música, els nens cantaven pel carrer,…
Però sobretot, vaig xalar quan de cop, el cel es va posar fosc i a Cienfuegos es va posar a ploure. Una colla de xiquets va arrencar a cridar i, mentre nosaltres ens resguardavem en una portalada, ells, al mig de la pluja, ballaven, cridaven, es tiraven pel terra lliscant amb l’aigua,… tot un espectacle. Vaig sentir la felicitat que ells sentien, per només uns 10 minuts de pluja. Allò si que no tenia preu.
